Iceland Selects Mastering RAI Instructional Series

Mr. Gerry Labossiere, President of AIS Assessment & Intelligence Systems Inc. (AIS) announced today that the Government of Iceland has purchased the Mastering RAI 2.0 computer based instructional system for the homes ongoing RAI 2.0 training needs.
“The Government believes that Mastering RAI 2.0 can assist in coordinating our training efforts for Icelandic nursing homes”, stated Hrafn Pálsson , Chief of Division for the Ministry of Health and Social Security of Iceland. “Of great importance is AIS’s partnership with Health eTraining International which will ensure that ongoing training materials are of the highest quality.”
The Mastering RAI series is the leading computer based multimedia instructional system for the RAI 2.0 and the RAI-HC. It integrates the expert advice of instructional designers, certified MDS trainers, leading MDS researchers and proven instructional material. Mastering RAI is based on an instructional framework that combines the principles of situated cognition, reflective practice and motivational design to strengthen the links between the learner's experience and day-to-day experience in the workplace.

The MDS 2.0 is a Minimum Data Set tool used for collection, analysis, and submission of continuing assessments.
