MDS RAI Education & Collaboration
Our extensive experience with the MDS RAI instruments has provided us with the privilege of working with a wide variety of organizations in different geographical regions of the world. As we worked with these organizations, it became evident that independent of the type, size or location, each organization followed similar steps when developing a comprehensive and effective educational strategy.

Step 1 - Define “outcomes of successful education” (both at the individual and organizational level) that will allow the organization to achieve their business and clinical objectives.

Step 2 - Develop “critical success factors” for their educational strategy that will need to be addressed in order to achieve the outcomes listed in step 1.

Step 3 – Evaluate alternative educational models to RAI education and the ability of each model to address the critical success factors identified in step 2.

Step 4 - Evaluation of financial costs of each educational model.

Step 5 – Select an education model and develop an implementation plan.
