Management Team

Tim M. Baribeau

Tim, as the Director of Customer Solutions, is responsible for the company’s overall product strategies and direction. Tim has considerable MDS RAI experience having worked with InterRAI researches in several countries in implementing new MDS RAI assessment instruments. He brings considerable expertise to AIS with his in-depth knowledge of the MDS RAI instruments as well as the various RAI applications – quality indicators, protocols for care planning, outcome scales and resource utilization groupers.

Previously, Tim has held various senior management positions with several information technology firms. Tim brings over 15 years of experience in technical, sales, marketing and management positions.

Tim’s interests include hockey, fitness and church activities.

 

Jason P. Hum

Jason is the Product & Support Manager of AIS and provides product leadership and expertise spanning all areas of eLearning. His primary responsibilities include managing eLearning solutions from concept through to delivery, and liaising with customers, partners and members of the management team.

Prior to joining AIS, Jason cofounded an interactive design firm, which specialized in the design and development of computer-based learning. Jason managed day-to-day operations and led teams on various projects. Jason's skillset includes business development, project management, client relations, design and development.

Jason can speak English, French and some Cantonese. He also trains as a competitive kickboxer and triathlete. His other interests include surfing, snowboarding, mountain biking, music, and design.

 

Scott G. Keller

Scott is the Chief Operating Officer of AIS. His primary responsibilities include overseeing the sales & marketing activities, day-to-day operations and accounting & finance functions within the organization.

Prior to joining AIS, Scott served as Director of Operations for seven years for a software development firm in Canada. Scott was responsible for the Research & Development, Client Services and Customer Support departments as well as product management for three product lines. His previous work experience includes the position of General Manager/Controller at a local manufacturing company. Scott’s diverse background includes strategic and operational planning, product marketing, contract negotiations, performance improvement, controllership and financial management.

Scott’s passions are his family, sports, music and the Boston Bruins hockey club.

 

Lisa M. Kraft, RN, BSN

Lisa, as Director, Clinical Education, is accountable for strengthening customer relationships and ensuring that our eLearning solutions provide maximum benefit to our customers. Lisa will also use her 15 years of healthcare experience to contribute to new product development initiatives and assist in the enhancement of current AIS solutions.

Before joining AIS, Lisa was Coordinator, Performance Monitoring-interRAI, at Interior Health Authority in BC where she was responsible for developing and monitoring critical indicators and reports for decision support. Lisa also assumed the role of Clinical Lead with the interRAI-HC implementation for Interior Health. Prior to that she held the position of Clinical Education Specialist for CIHI where she developed and delivered face-to-face and eLearning education across Canada.

Lisa is a family oriented, passionate, principled professional who loves nursing and teaching and is actively involved in her children’s activities.

 

Gerald C. Labossiere, CA

(Gerry) is the President and Chief Executive Officer of AIS, a company inspired by his passion to improve healthcare. Gerry has over 30 years health experience. He has served on various Grey Nuns of Manitoba boards and committees, including the largest nursing home in Manitoba (Tache Nursing Centre -320 beds), the 2nd largest hospital in the province (St-Boniface – 600 beds) and the 1st Primary Care Community Access Centre in Winnipeg (Centre de Sante de St-Boniface).

Gerry’s work experience includes the position of City Auditor for the City of Winnipeg, General Manager of the Stabilization Fund for the Caisse Populaires of Manitoba, and Principal of Coopers & Lybrand Consulting Group in Winnipeg. His extensive and diverse background includes capital fundraising, sales & marketing, strategic planning, performance improvement, financial management, controllership, marketing, receivership, computer audit and audit.

Gerry, who is fluent in French and English, is best know for his strong ties to family and community and his penchant for playing practical jokes on the unsuspecting.

 

Paul Vermette

As the Director of Product Innovation, Paul is responsible for the delivery and innovation of the company’s solution roadmap. Paul has over 15 years of expertise in product management and software development leadership. He has an extensive background in developing healthcare solutions for markets around the world, focusing on the various RAI applications, electronic health records, business intelligence and food services.

Prior to joining AIS, Paul held a number of senior positions for a large developer of healthcare software products, including Chief Technology Officer and Director of Product Management. Paul has brought his experience to AIS to help build an innovative, lasting, and customer focused solution roadmap.

Paul is also very focused on his family, and loves outdoor adventure, running and music.
