Mr. Gerry Labossiere, President of AIS Assessment & Intelligence Systems Inc. (AIS) announced today that the Vancouver Island Health AuthorityVIHA) and the Fraser Health Authority have purchased the Mastering the RAI-HC computer based instructional system to support their respective RAI-HC implementations. “Having had the benefit of being involved in the first RAI implementations in Canada in 1996, I am a firm believer that quality education on the MDS instruments and applications is essential to the success of implementing the RAI-HC in our region”, stated Marilyn Rook, Chief Operating Officer of VIHA, “ We believe that the Mastering the RAI-HC instructional system, with ongoing content from Health eTraining International, will allow us to deliver high quality, standardized MDS education in a cost-effective manner for many years to come.”

The Mastering RAI series is the leading computer based multimedia instructional system designed to enable trainers and learners to master the RAI 2.0 and the RAI-HC assessment methodology in ‘instructor-led group scenarios’ and ‘self-paced’ learning environments for both community and care home settings.
